The Chris Hoy Edinburgh Half Marathon

The picturesque Firth of Forth coastline forms the backdrop to this scenic Half Marathon. The big race
takes place on Sunday 18th April 2010.

The Half Marathon starts at 9.00am prompt on Sunday 18th April 2010 from Meadowbank Stadium.

The race is open to all runners aged 17 years and older on 18th April 2010.

Entry Fees

Entries to take part in this event must be received before the entry deadline of midnight 28th March 2010.

There are no race day entries for this event.

Transfers and Deferrals

Transfers of an entry to another person are permitted with the organisers consent up until four weeks before the event. Please download an entry form, the substitute must fill it in and send it along with the existing entrant’s name and address to Edinburgh Half Marathon, 10-B Cairneyhill Road, Crossford, Fife, KY12 8NZ. Please note that your race number must not be given to anyone else, this will result in them being disqualified and also if part of a team, this will result in the team being disqualified.

Deferments of an entry to the following year are permitted with the organisers consent up until four weeks before the event. The deferment can only take place if the entrant puts their request in writing to the administration team at Edinburgh Half Marathon, 10-B Cairneyhill Road, Crossford, Fife, KY12 8NZ. Deferments are valid for one year only.

Using the latest world class Winning Time technology, Interloq will provide timing services for the half marathon. Each entrant will wear an individual timing chip, which automatically records their finishing time. Look out for details in the race pack. Race results will be available via their website at www.winningtimeuk.com.

Official Race Photographer

MyBibNumberEntrants will be able to purchase professional photographs of themselves via our official event photographers my-bib-number. They will have photographers positioned along the scenic stages of the run; try to give them a smile!

The company offer a unique service as you can view, purchase and take home a photograph on the day of the run. Simply enter your bib number into one of their viewing stations at the finish line to view and print your image. Race certificates will also be available, these include the race logo and your time displayed on your photograph. So remember to stop by before leaving and view your images.

The images will also be posted to www.mybibnumber.com after the event.
